East Yorkshire Local History Society

On Thursday 14th April at 7.30pm in the Central Library, Hull.  We are hosting a talk by Joanne Chilman: "A Contagion Around Us"; fallen women in 19th century Hull.  Joanne has been undertaking a PhD ins History since 2003 with a study of Women, Crime and the Courts in Nineteenth Century Hull, and has been working part-time in Hull's History Centre. Tickets cost £2.00 and can be obtained in advance from the Central Library or at the door on the night.
